Furnishings

Introduction

Furnishing is a core part of your teapot, be it for design and appearance or just to get free resources weekly. There are 3 rarities of furnishing: green, blue, purple. For simplicity, we will refer to their rarity as their color. The difference between these rarities are in the amount crafting material, how long it takes to craft and how many adeptal energy it provides. Green provides 30 adeptal energy and takes 12 hours to make, blue provides 60 and takes 14 hours to make, purple provides 90 and takes 16 hours to make (most furnishing follows this pattern, though some of them doesn’t). Keep in mind that some furnishings are not craftable and some others are event exclusive. Largely, Furnishings are divided into 2 types, indoor furnishing and outdoor furnishing. Most Indoor furnishings can’t be placed outdoor and vice versa, however there are a couple of exceptions to this being a companion or small animals like dogs and cats. There is also a feature in teapot which allows you to plant certain plants on a dedicated furnishing which gives you more free resources. These 2 feature will be explained further in their respective part. First off, to craft a furnishing, you need to have their blueprint first, you can get a furnishing blueprint in the following ways

  1. Buying from the Realm Depot (Can also buy uncraftable furnishing)

  2. Reward from Adeptal Mirror

  3. Buying from Event Shop (when there is any)

  4. Remarkable Chest in Tsurumi Island (In Inazuma)

  5. Buying from certain NPCs such as Nantuck, Goth, Master Lu

  6. Buying from Traveling Salesman (Only available from Friday-Sunday)

  7. Buying Gnostic Chorus Battle Pass

In Those shops, some might also sell a set blueprint, which allows you to make a set of furniture with a single click (Note that the set only gives you the ability to make the set, you still need to craft all the required furnishing for the set). These sets do virtually nothing besides appearance, they don't offer a bonus or anything like that. However, there is also this thing called “Gift Sets”, they pretty much function like the normal set, but with the ability to get “Gifts” from certain characters placed near the set. You can claim this reward by talking to the character afterwards. You should be able to find whether it is a Gift Sets or not and what character can be placed on the set for the gift by looking at the bottom-most part of the set description, it should list the character for the set.

Load System and Min-Maxing Adeptal Energy

In teapot, the amount of furnishing you can place is limited by this feature called “Load”. You can not see how many load have you used or how many is left, the only indicator available in-game is a colored circle that shows up when you’re placing furnishing. Green means that all furnishings can be placed, Yellow means that some furnishings might not be able to be placed, and Red means that most if not all furnishings can’t be placed. If you want to know the exact value of how much load a furnishing takes, you can visit the official Genshin Wiki.

Now, for those who are not interested in decorating your teapot, and just want to reap the free rewards here is a easy step by step guide on how to reach max trust rank and max adeptal energy ASAP

  1. Buy all the furnishing blueprint that you can (higher rarity takes priority)

  2. Obtain the required materials for crafting

  3. Prioritize crafting new furnishing for the very first time to get Trust (New furnishing is market by a teapot icon on the top right)

  4. Buy Vial of Adeptal Speed daily and use them to speed up your crafting

  5. Ask your friend to speed up your furnishing crafting (optional)

  6. If you ran out of new Furnishing to craft, or have reached the maximum Trust Rank, then you should either get back to Step 1 or craft purple furnishing to raise your adeptal energy

  7. Try to Complete the Adeptal Mirror Quest while you’re doing all of the above

For Step 6, most players choose to make “Pine Folding Screen: Billowing Sails”, mainly due to its rarity and easy to get material and low load cost. Players will then jam them into a single room (since it’s an indoor furnishing) and started the “bitcoin mining” trend.
