Terminology
Pull - Wishing / spending fates on banners.
Pity - The amount of pulls youâve done after the last 5* you obtained. Every type of banner counts their pity counts individually.
Soft Pity - Referring to the significantly increased chance of getting a 5* which happens at 74-89 pity on Character Event Banner and Standard Banner, and 63-79 pity on Weapon Event Banner.
Hard Pity - Referring to the maximum amount of pulls needed to get a 5* on a banner which is 90 pity on Character Event Banner and Standard Banner and 80 pity on Weapon banner.
50/50 - When youâre starting fresh, you have a 50% chance of getting the character featured on the Character Event Banner and 50% chance of getting one of the Standard Banner 5* character. If you do not get the featured 5* character then your next 5* is guaranteed to be rate up 5*. However if you do get the featured 5* characters, then your next 5* will also be a 50/50.
75/25 - Essentially the same as 50/50 but this one applies to the Weapon Event Banner only. On your first 5*, you have 75% of getting the featured weapon (since there are 2 featured weapons, the chance is split 37.5%/37.5% each) and 25% of getting one from the standard banner. Similar guarantee rules apply to the Weapon Event Banner, however it is shared between the two featured weapons.
Guaranteed - Having a guaranteed 5* means that your next 5* on the banner will be the featured character / weapon.
Fate Points - a mechanic that exists in the Weapon Event Banner, which guarantees getting the weapon that you select when getting a 5* after obtaining 2 Fate Points. You get Fate Points when you get a 5* weapon that is not the one that you select for your Epitomized Path. Keep in mind that your Fate Points reset back to 0 when the banner changes, when you get the 5* that you selected, or when you change your selected weapon.
