The banner where you can have the chance at pulling the featured or limited rate up character, as well as rate-ups for the 4* characters. Keep in mind these are the only way you can get those beloved limited characters you like and enjoy so it is highly recommended to pull on this banner if you are F2P. Occasionally, there are two Character Event Banners running simultaneously. These banners share pity and the same rate up 4* characters. It is best to think of these banners as one single banner in which you can switch the rate up 5* at will.
The center section between the three banners. It allows you to have a chance to pull for the specified rate up weapons, the featured 4* weapons also have rate ups to have a higher chance to pull for them.
The weapon banner is a 25/75 for the rate up weapons. When receiving a 5 star item, you have a 25% chance of getting an off-banner weapon; which will then result in your next 5 star on the weapon banner being a 50/50 between one of the promotional weapons.
As of 1.6, a new mechanic was introduced to the weapon banner: Epitomized Path. At the arrival of a new Weapon Event Banner, it will be marked with an exclamation point, encouraging you to pick a weapon to set your path towards. To guarantee this weapon, you must build Fate Points through receiving 5*’s that you did not select. You will be guaranteed this weapon on the third 5* you pull, with the previous 2 contributing Fate Points.
It's highly discouraged to pull in the weapon banner if you're just an F2P/Low spender player
The rightmost banner; this banner has no time limit and the banner might look like a rate up for the 5* characters/weapons displayed, but in reality this is false, as there is a 50/50 between character and weapon when receiving a 5 star item (5% for a specific weapon, 10% for character). It is highly advisable not to spend primogems on it, as you will naturally accumulate the currency needed by just playing the game (Paimon’s Bargains, Battle Pass, ascending characters). There is also no guarantee system on this banner if you’re wishing for a specific item. As of 3.1, Tighnari has joined the standard banner pool, so it changes the odds from 10% for a specific character to 8.33% for a specific character
The wish banners for beginners, given a discount of 8 fates instead of the usual 10, new players will be able to get Noelle, a 4* character for free, as well a chance for other 4* characters that are available in the pool. There are 16 pulls only available for this specific banner, and once the 16 pulls have been done, the banner will cease to exist.
