Introduction

Resin is a form of “energy” in Genshin just like any other games, Genshin being an open world game doesn’t rely 100% on this energy; energy is only used when you claim rewards from certain sources. It does not limit your open-world exploration by any means.

Use of Resin

1. Mora Leylines

2. EXP Book Leylines

3. Mystic Enhancement ore via mystical crystal chunk*

4. Talent Books Domain

5. Weapon Ascension Material Domain

6. Artifact Domain

7. Claiming World Boss rewards

8. Claiming Weekly Boss rewards

9. Converting to Condensed Resin*

It's highly discouraged to craft mystic enhancement ores with resin, just craft 30 daily with crystal chunk only

Condensed Resin costs 40 resin to make and can be used to claim the rewards from Domain or Ley Lines Blossom but cannot be used for anything else like World Boss drops or Weekly Boss drops. Condensed Resin does NOT give you extra rewards compared to spending resin without converting. It does give double the amount but that’s because it also costs twice the amount. The only function of Condensed Resin is to reduce the amount of runs.

Resin plays an integral part in Genshin Impact, mainly because most resources for upgrading character and weapon requires resin to get, hence why you should pay attention to how you spend your resin.

3. Buying Resin Replenishments

It's highly discouraged to buy replenishments if you're an F2P player or a low spender
