Battle Pass

This is the battle pass system of Genshin. Like any other gameâs battle pass, this gives rewards for you by leveling up your BP level. There are also 2 paid options for spenders to choose: Gnostic Hymn and Gnostic Chorus. Gnostic Chorus is just the normal Gnostic Hymn together with some extras; generally not worth unless youâre quite a big spender or really want the exclusive stuff.
Information about the battle pass system
Weekly XP limit system - You cannot get more than 10k a week, although XP you gain from the tasks under âThis BP Periodâ tab do not count towards the 10k limit.
Purchasing level - Generally not worth it since it costs Primogems which ideally should only be used to pull for characters and weapons.
Free BP reward section
Paid BP reward section - To distinguish the two available options when purchasing BP, Gnostic Hymn unlocks the second tier of rewards (including, but not limited to: ample EXP resources, a BP exclusive 4-star weapon, and a decent sum of primogems). Gnostic Chorus provides all previous benefits, while giving the Traveler an exclusive namecard, furnishing blueprint, advances current BP level by 10, and 5 fragile resin.
Daily Missions - These are your daily tasks. They reset every day at server reset (4 AM server time)
Weekly Missions - These are your weekly tasks. They reset every week at Monday server reset (4 AM server time)
This BP Period - This section doesnât count towards the weekly XP limit and stays forever until the BP ends. Do note that event tasks are inside this section and do not stay as long as the BP.
Q: âWhat happens if I fail to collect the rewards once the BP ends?â A: You lose them, and are unable to collect them, so it is recommended to only get the paid BP once you have reached level 50 or when you are confident enough to reach it
Q: âWill I receive all previous rewards when purchasing the Gnostic Hymn, or do I have to level up BP again for the Gnostic Hymn section?" A: You wonât need to level up BP again for the second tier.
Q: âWhat weapon should I get from the Battle Pass?â A: Ideally pick the one that your current damage dealer needs, but if your damage dealer has no need for it and you are satisfied with your current needs, Serpent Spine is generally the best choice among the five, followed by Deathmatch. The rest are decent choices.
